No-Fuss Air Fryer Pasta

If you’re familiar with the viral ‘TikTok Pasta,’ then you’ll love this air fryer pasta bake! This version is even quicker and easier to make without compromising on flavor.

We’ve taken the classic ingredients of the internet sensation and air-fried them into a creamy, cheesy masterpiece. Plus, thanks to the air fryer’s cooking power, you’ll get it on the table in as little as 10 to 15 minutes!

The best part about this air fryer pasta bake (not including the taste) is how easy it is to clean up. You don’t even need a baking dish — everything cooks right in the air fryer basket.

Simply pop some tomatoes and feta in the air fryer to create the sauce, stir in garlic and basil for extra flavor, then toss in some of my cooked lupini pasta, and dinner will be ready before you know it!

How to Make this Air Fryer Pasta Bake

The steps are simple, and I’m outlining them below but be sure to scroll to the bottom of the page to view the full, printable recipe card. You can also check out this recipe on my website, Kaizenfoodcompany.com!

STEP 1 – SEASON TOMATOES

Place the tomatoes in the air fryer basket (or in a large bowl). Then pour in the olive oil and toss to combine. Season the tomatoes with salt and pepper.

STEP 2 – ADD FETA

Next, arrange the block of feta in the center of the air fryer basket and season with more salt and pepper. The tomatoes should surround the feta in a single layer on the bottom of the basket.

STEP 3 – AIR FRY

Place the air fryer basket in the air fryer and cook for 10-15 minutes at 400°F. It is done when the tomatoes have burst and are slightly charred.

STEP 4 – COOK PASTA

While the tomatoes and feta cook, bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the lupini pasta and boil for 5 minutes until al dente. Then drain the pasta and set it aside.

STEP 5 – MAKE PASTA SAUCE

When the tomatoes and feta are done, remove the air fryer basket and use a fork to mash the tomatoes and mix them with the olive oil and melted feta.

Then mix in the basil, garlic, and red pepper flakes. Taste the sauce and add more salt and pepper, if needed.

STEP 6 – ASSEMBLE

Add the cooked pasta to the sauce, mixing to coat the pasta thoroughly.

STEP 7 – MELT CHEESE

Sprinkle cheese on top of the pasta and return it to the air fryer for 2-3 more minutes, or until the cheese has melted and the edges of the pasta bake are golden brown.

STEP 8 – SERVE & ENJOY

Remove and serve topped with more basil and red pepper flakes, if desired.

ENJOY!

Recipe Tips

  • Feel free to experiment with the seasonings! Italian seasoning or a dash of cayenne pepper are great options. If you don’t have fresh garlic, you can use 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder as a substitute.
  • You can substitute cheddar cheese or Parmesan cheese (or your favorite cheese!) for the mozzarella.
  • Want extra protein? Mix some sliced chicken breasts or a cooked filet of salmon into the pasta bake.

Storage

Store any leftover pasta in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.

To reheat, place pasta in the air fryer basket and cook at 375°F for 6-7 minutes. You can also microwave leftovers, covered in a damp paper towel, for 3-4 minutes.
